Dannemarche was constructed in 1909. The reservoir holds up to 93 Megalitres. The dam  is 70.1m long and 7.9m high. Members of the local club are permitted to fish the reservoir.

Dannemarche is stocked with bream to 8lb, tench to 4lb, roach to 2lb 2oz association record, eels to 5lb 10oz association record, carp to 20lb, perch, trout bait caught 6lb 6oz association record and rudd to 2lb association record.
